Done. As before, this package is off by default; you can enable it by running “pkg load symbolic”.

Right now I just manually update the packages (and Octave itself) every couple of months. I don't really see a need to automate it. :)

And, to prevent myself from asking such requests in future, does the system automatically upgrades the installed packages when a new version is released? If not, then how often it does it?
(On a side note, I guess such questions, concerning differences in using octave on octave-online.net from a usual desktop installation, would find a good place in a short HELP document, accessible from the main window)
